Ian Samuels is an LTA Level 4 Accredited Plus Coach — the highest accreditation available from the LTA — with over 30 years of experience in competitive tennis and professional coaching at every level.

As Head Coach at three clubs across Essex and Hertfordshire, Ian has built a coaching programme that's structured, progressive, and genuinely enjoyable. Every player — whether they're picking up a racket for the first time or preparing for competitive play — receives the same level of care, attention, and expertise.

Post your racket to us yourself, and we'll send it back fully tracked. The cheaper option if you're already passing a parcel shop.

The hassle-free one. We send you a label or QR code to scan at your local parcel shop — no printer needed — and cover the journey both ways, tracked.

How It Works

Tell us what you need

Get in touch with your racket model, your tier and your tension. Not sure what suits you? Describe how you play and Ian will recommend a string and tension free of charge.

Send it or drop it in

Wrap the frame in bubble wrap and use a sturdy box. We'll confirm the moment it lands with us, and let you know if anything needs attention beyond the strings.

Back on court

Strung within 24–48 hours and returned tracked. We keep a record of your setup, so your next restring is a one-line message.

Not sure if you need a restring?

A decent rule of thumb: restring as many times per year as you play per week. Polyester goes dead long before it snaps, so don't wait for a breakage. It's worth a look if any of these sound familiar:

→  The stringbed feels dead or boardy
→  You're swinging harder for the same depth
→  Strings are fraying or badly notched
→  You're losing spin or control on good contact
→  The sound off the strings has changed
→  You can't remember your last restring
